WA Craft Beer Strategy

At WABA we’re proud to have worked alongside the SWBA (South West Brewers Alliance), the IBA (Independent Brewers Association) and DPIRD (the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development) to help shape WA’s first Craft Beer Strategy. This plan is all about backing our local brewers by strengthening our industry from the ground up, building better market access at home and overseas, cutting red tape and shining a light on the quality and creativity that make WA craft beer unique. Together, we’re setting the stage for the next decade of growth, collaboration and opportunity for everyone who brews, serves and loves great Western Australian beer.

ECONOMIC SURVEY

The West Australian Brewers Association (WABA) is conducting this economic survey to gather critical data from breweries across the state. This information will help build a clear and credible picture of the industry’s contribution to employment, regional development, supply chains and infrastructure investment.

All survey responses will be treated with strict confidentiality. Data will be collated and anonymised to ensure that individual businesses cannot be identified. This means your information will only be used in aggregate and no personal or business specific details will be shared.

WABA is the representative body for WA’s brewing industry in conversations with the State Government. We are working to ensure that the implementation of the new WA State Craft Beer Strategy reflects the real economic position and priorities of our breweries. Your participation in this survey is vital, regardless of your WABA membership status, so that we can advocate with accuracy on behalf of our incredible WA brewing industry.
