Using specially created Cicerone flavour kits and a wealth of knowledge, our experienced trainers will take you through guided tastings and provide concise information on common beer faults and flavours
Exam Details:
One of the most challenging aspects in determining beer quality is the ability to readily recognise the many potential beer faults that we all too readily come across. This program is ideal for brewers, aspirant Certified Cicerones and beer lovers alike.
Using specially created Cicerone flavour kits and a wealth of knowledge, our experienced trainers will take you through multiple blind and guided tastings as well as providing concise information as to the causes of (and solutions to) to a range of the most common beer faults, including;
• Papery/Oxidised • Acetaldehyde
• DMS
• Diacetyl
• Infected
• Light-struck • H2S
• Metallic
Prerequisites:
Candidates for this course must be of legal drinking age.

Duration:
3 hours. Standard course times are 6pm – 9pm.
